It’s a pretty sweet gig and requires very minimum effort while still being a fulfilling and fun job. I teach English online very early in the mornings and it leaves practically all of my daylight hours to do with what I please. Most days my job is really quiet and people think I am working hard, cause math and money lol so it often looks a lot more complicated than it is, so they leave me alone lol it's beautiful. It's not an exciting job but numbers don't talk or lie the answer is always there somewhere. They charge a hell of a lot more than I do (rightfully so!) and the companies I work for either aren't interested or are too busy to keep up on it themselves, so enter the bookkeeper. It is more cost effective for my company to pay me to regularly keep up on the books, instead of letting them go most of the year (in some cases, YEARS) and having them be a huge mess for their accountant to go through at tax time. I do the basic every day stuff for the business that keeps their money organized, so when the accountant gets the books at the end of the year, their job is faster and easier. I call it glorified data entry lol it's not the same as being an accountant but it's in the same family. If you need immediate help please call the National Suicide Hotline, 1-80.
